“Richard V. Mack, a partner in the Phoenix office of Zelms Erlich Lenkov & Mack, has been a lawyer since 1990. He is a State Bar of Arizona certified real estate specialist and AV Preeminent® by Martindale Hubbell. He has also been designated as a 2008–2012 and 2014–2021 Super Lawyer and is a member of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. Mr. Mack also serves on the Arizona State Bar Real Estate Advisory Commission, which oversees the Real Estate Specialization Program, serving as vice chair in 2021. Mr. Mack is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Arizona and before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mack graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas with a BBA with an emphasis in economics, and received his JD from the University of Arizona.
Mr. Mack has defended professionals, including architects, appraisers, attorneys, contractors, engineers, escrow agents, home inspectors, insurance agents, mortgage brokers and real estate agents in more than 1,000 civil litigations in every county in the State of Arizona. Mr. Mack also presents seminars on professional liability and risk reduction matters for various continuing education providers, including the Maricopa County Bar Association, Lorman Education Services, the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, and the Arizona Association of REALTORS®. He also represents contractors, subcontractors and owners in construction matters, including lien priority, lien foreclosure, and construction defect cases. Mr. Mack also represents parties in general real estate and commercial litigation matters including partnership and business disputes, real property litigation and defense and enforcement of promissory notes and related financing instruments.
Mr. Mack also negotiates and drafts transaction documents, including real estate and business purchase agreements, leases, construction agreements, financing instruments, deeds, as well as limited liability company and corporate governing documents
Mr. Mack works closely with the general counsel for the Arizona Association of REALTORS® on various industry issues and is the lead attorney for the Arizona Association of REALTORS® Hotline Program. Mr. Mack also represents many local REALTOR® associations throughout the state.”
