Courtney D. Casiano is an associate in the Phoenix office of Zelms Erlich & Mack. Ms. Casiano has ample experience serving clients with both litigation and transactional needs in the practice areas of complex civil litigation, professional liability, real estate, as well as premises and automotive liability.
Ms. Casiano has defended a variety of professionals, including doctors, accountants, real estate appraisers, attorneys, and real estate brokers. At trial and through the course of litigation, she is a fierce advocate for her clients. As many will attest, Ms. Casiano is reliable, trustworthy, and assertive with great attention to detail. Her most notable trial accomplishment involves securing a defense verdict for a complex paramedic medical malpractice, wrongful death case arising from an alleged failure to treat. For her outstanding leadership, creativity, and innovative service, Ms. Casiano was a recipient of the "Recent Alumni Achievement" from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Alumni Association (2021).
Ms. Casiano is a two-time graduate of Arizona State University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in psychology and Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. While attending Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Ms. Casiano was an associate editor for the Law Journal for Social Justice, where she authored and edited articles for the journal. She also supported several student organizations, received the highest ‘Pro Bono Distinction’ for public service, and was elected by her peers as the Graduation Class Speaker.
Ms. Casiano is a member of the Arizona State Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Aside from her success in the practice of law and representation of clients, she has a passion for giving back to the community, especially when it comes to animals.
